GLOBALISATION OF FINANCIAL FLOWS

At the end of the eighties, the revolution in the capital markets not only consisted of the expansion of the offer of financial products but also, and above all, the modernization of its information systems. Stock professionals were seeking access to worldwide and instant transactions. In 1987, the trading floor, where brokers met to quote values, was being replaced by the "Super CAC" computer system. All the major banks followed this trend and equipped themselves with efficient information systems.

Three years after its creation, ITHAQUE counted ten consultants, who all shared the same passion for financial markets and all had dual skills: information systems and financial markets.

THE AGE OF SECURIZATION

During the nineties, the impulse instigated by financial markets spread to all financial information systems: they had to be modernized. From 1994 on, the perspective of a European monetary zone revealed security and reliability constraints in flow exchanges.
The securitization of exchange systems issue led to a new wave of large projects to which ITHAQUE contributed : the implementation of a real-time secured large-value payments system (PNS/TBF, TARGET), the implementation of a securities settlement system (RELIT/RGV), the switch to the Euro and the year 2000.

This period permitted ITHAQUE to strengthen its expertise by acquiring an overall vision of banking and financial exchanges.
